To raise awareness of first aid among all citizens and strengthen social resilience, it is necessary to train field response personnel capable of securing the "golden hour" in emergency situations such as cardiac arrest. This qualification aims to objectively evaluate and certify the job competencies of Emergency Medical Technicians performing CPR, AEDs, and basic first aid, based on the American Heart Association (AHA) 2025 Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and the National Emergency Medical System Standard Guidelines. The qualification consists of three grades: Grade 3 focuses on basic response, Grade 2 on semi-professional field response, and Grade 1 aims to meet societal demands by producing experts equipped with professional leadership capabilities capable of performing field command and training.

Initial Situation Recognition and Dissemination, Performance of Basic Life Support (BLS),
Application of Basic First Aid, Complex Trauma Assessment and Treatment, Field Safety and Accident Prevention, Handovers to Professional Medical Staff, Field Command and Control, Advanced Treatment Decision Making, Educational Planning and Awareness Raising

∙ Level 1: Individuals who have held Level 2 certification and have 1+ years of practical experience in emergency/safety fields, or those who have completed a designated instructor training course (minimum 24 hours).
∙ Level 2: Individuals who have held Level 3 certification and completed an advanced first aid training course (minimum 16 hours), or those who enrolled/completed 1+ years in related academic departments (paramedicine, nursing, etc.).
∙ Level 3: Anyone who has completed basic first aid training (minimum 8 hours), regardless of education, age, or experience.

Primary test : Applicants must take the exam according to the attached application criteria and obtain at least 60 points.
Secondary test : Only those who have passed the primary exam can take the secondary exam.
